Caitlin Clark's Success On & Off the Court
Feb 26, 2024It was a great week for Caitlin Clark! On Thursday Caitlin broke the All-Time NCAA Women's Basketball Scoring Record (3,527 points) which was previously held by Kelsey Plum. Caitlin had an outstanding game against Michigan scoring 49 points to extend the record to 3,569 points.
She received shoutouts from businesses and celebrities including Nike, Alex Morgan, Lil Wayne, and Magic Johnson.

Nike
Athletic powerhouse Nike signed Caitlin Clark to an NIL deal in 2022. She was part of the Nike Basketball deal alongside Bronny James, Haley Jones, DJ Wagner, and Juju Watkins. This high-caliber class of athletes was one of the first Nike NIL Basketball deals.
Following Caitlin's record-breaking night, Nike posted a photo with Caitlin stating "you break it, you own it". The post on "X" has reached 2.5 million people, illustrating Caitlin's extreme popularity and marketability.

Hy-Vee
Supermarket chain Hy-Vee signed Caitlin Clark back in 2021 as the company's first collegiate athlete partner. Caitlin has been involved in several of Hy-Vee's campaigns and in-person events over the years.
Caitlin created the Caitlin Clark Foundation which aims to benefit the local youth in education, nutrition, and sport. After breaking the scoring record with 3,569 points, Hy-Vee donated $35,690 to the Caitlin Clark Foundation.
